A finales del año 2010 Alfredo Arribas abandona Portal del Montsant para concentrarse en la elaboración de las series limitadas Trossos, colección de viñas viejas, mayoritariamente en el Sur de la D.O. Montsant. Viñedos únicos, de pequeñas parcelas y producciones mínimas, identificables siempre a través de sus vinos con el origen de procedencia y en particular con sus diversos suelos: arenosos, calcáreos o de arcillas rojas.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
