En esta edición nos encontramos con un vino totalmente renovado. Con más protagonismo de las variedades autóctonas garnacha negra y cariñena. La combinación de diferentes terroirs, la diversidad geológica de L'Empordà, proporcionan una gran complejidad. Un nuevo vino mediterráneo, de color profundo, afrutado, especiado y de suaves taninos. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble americano (70%) y francés (30%).

The production region of D.O. Empordà is located in La región de Ampurdán (Empordà), hasta 2006 denominada Ampurdán-Costa Brava, abarca la zona vinícola desde la Albera hasta la sierra de Rodas y la Garrotxa de Ampurdán, en España. El área de producción está distribuida en dos subzonas: 35 municipios al norte del Alto Ampurdán y 13 municipios al este del Bajo Ampurdán.
