The production region of A.O.C. Chambolle-Musigny is located in Exclusivamente el pueblo de Chambolle-Musigny en Côte de Nuits de Borgoña. La denominación solo puede utilizarse para el vino tinto con Pinot noir como uva principal. Hay 25 viñedos Premier Cru en Chambolle-Musigny, y dos viñedos Grand Cru: Musigny y Bonnes Mares.
