Que Chile produce algunos de los vinos tintos de mayor calidad del mundo no es ya ningún secreto, como tampoco lo es que su precio suele ser muy contenido. Añadamos que la uva carmenere se ha adaptado con tal facilidad al viñedo chileno que se ha convertido en una de sus estrellas más brillantes y nos encontraremos con vinos tan interesantes como el Casillero del Diablo Carmenere, un tinto intenso y especiado, cargado de fruta madura, perfumes florales y una fabulosa concentración capaz de deleitar al más exigente de los paladares. Envejecido en barricas de roble americano.
