Muro Sant'Angelo Contrada Barbatto es, a todos los efectos, uno de los grandes ejemplares de Primitivo de la denominación Gioia del Colle. De denso color rubí, en nariz se revela con una aromática de finura y amplitud incomparable: desde la cereza hasta la nuez moscada, pasando por el clavo, la pimienta negra o el cacao. En boca se muestra suntuoso, profundo y aterciopelado, de cuerpo robusto y opulento, con taninos austeros. Su gran persistencia le augura una larga longevidad.
