Sindicat La Figuera es el sueño hecho realidad de seis viticultores del pueblo de la Figuera en la DO Montsant, situado a 550 metros de altura el punto más elevado de la comarca, para recuperar la producción de vino. Sindicat La Figuera está elaborado con garnatxa tinta, la única variedad plantada en el pueblo, de cepas con edades que van de los 70 a los 100 años y que crecen a una altitud de unos 400 metros. Fermentó en los tradicionales lagares de cemento subterráneos resultando en un tinto fresco, ligero y con mucha fruta. Criado durante 8 meses en depósitos de hormigón subterráneos.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
