Elaborado con viejas garnachas autóctonas de más de 60 años de edad, cultivadas sobre suelos de pizarra gris, a una altitud de 900 metros. Cepas de escasa producción, vendimiadas manualmente. Envejecido durante 18 meses en barricas nuevas de roble francés, con batonnages periódicos.
