Está inmediatamente al sur de la ciudad de Burdeos (con una pequeña porción al oeste), de hecho, algunos de los viñedos del norte de Pessac-Léognan están completamente rodeados por las urbanizaciones de Burdeos, como resultado de la expansión hacia el sur de la ciudad.
