Todavía desconocido para muchos, y esperado para otros, Olivier Rivière nos ofrece finalmente su gran joya. Un vino lleno de méritos para ser contado entre los mejores bien pronto. Serio, muy elegante en nariz, con aromas florales y terrosos, fresco y mineral... Losares se elabora con las uvas, mayoritariamente de tempranillo (95%), más un pequeño aporte de graciano y de mazuelo, de un viñedo plantado en el año 1930 en la localidad de Navaridas, a una altitud de 700 metros y sobre suelos de tipo arenisco-calcáreos. Fermentado en depósitos de hormigón abiertos y envejecido den barricas de roble francés de 500 litros.

The production region of D.O.Ca. Rioja is located in Las regiones de las comunidades autónomas de La Rioja y el País Vasco mayoritariamente, y en menor medida de Navarra y Castilla y León. Por la diversidad orográfica y climática se distinguen tres subzonas de producción: Rioja Alta (76 términos municipales en la comunidad autónoma de La Rioja y 1, Miranda de Ebro, en la provincia de Burgos, Castilla y León), Rioja Baja (42 términos municipales en la comunidad autónoma de La Rioja y 8 en Navarra) y Rioja Alavesa (15 términos municipales en la provincia de Álava, País Vasco).
