Sería magnífico poder combinar la madurez de los vinos murcianos con el señorío y la elegancia de los buenos vinos franceses. Pues eso es justamente lo que sucede en este enorme tinto de Jumilla. Juan Gil Etiqueta Azul seduce nuestros ojos con un precioso color morado violáceo y una lágrima muy lenta. Los aromas en nariz son profundos y minerales, y se entremezclan para dibujar un paisaje de olivos, matorrales y frutos rojos. Tras unos instantes aparecen las especias (vainillas, pimientas y clavo), la tinta china y los torrefactos. El juego entre los taninos dulzones y jugosos de la monastrell y la austeridad noble del cabernet resulta en un tinto memorable que llena todos y cada uno de los rincones de la boca de carácter y emoción. Pesa pero fluye, impacta pero enamora. Con total seguridad, uno los mejores vinos de la DO Jumilla. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas nuevas, con alto aporte tánico.
