Gracias al suelo mezcla de gravas y arcillas, y a los 40 años de media de edad de las viñas, el vino se muestra generoso, con cuerpo, finura y equilibrio. El porcentaje del viejo cabernet franc le confiere una gran complejidad. Envejece 18 meses en barricas de roble, 50% nuevas cada año, con un trasiego cada tres meses.

The production region of A.O.C. Pomerol is located in La comarca más pequeña de las principales regiones de vinos finos en Burdeos, que cubre un área de aproximadamente 3 kilómetros de ancho por 4 kilómetros de largo.
