Syrah y petit verdot son las variedades a partir de las cuales se elabora este estandarte de Casale del Giglio: un vino moderno pero a todos los efectos un clásico ya de la enología italiana. De nariz compleja, su bouquet se compone de notas frutales y florales, especiadas, balsámicas y tostadas. Oscuro, denso, espeso, con destacados aromas a frutos del bosque maduros, azufaifa y cereza; tras ellos, le siguen otros de violeta, especias dulces y granos de café. En boca se muestra elegante y envolvente, con unos taninos trabajados con maestría y una sabrosa mineralidad. Sin duda un gran ejemplo del buen hacer de la bodega.
