Las uvas de syrah maceran entre 4 y 5 días y fermentan cerca de 20 en depósitos de acero inoxidable a temperatura controlada. El 40% envejece en barricas de roble americano durante 12 meses y el resto en acero inoxidable. Ya en la copa cautiva con su color cereza, su capa (media) alta y una lágrima abundante. Aromas de vainilla y caramelo de café salen a nuestro encuentro. Pronto emerge una alta concentración de fruta negra y nuevos aromas tostados de la madera. En boca se muestra intenso pero redondo gracias al origen de sus uvas (vides a más de 600 metros de altitud sobre suelo calizo); taninos maduros típicos de Borsao más la opulencia del estilo australiano. Una explosión controlada de regaliz, pimienta y menta que garantiza placer del primer al último sorbo. Envejecido, parcialmente, durante 12 meses en barricas de roble.
