El nombre de Clos d'Englora es en homenaje a una de las cimas del Montsant, y su nomenclatura AV14 hace referencia a que las uvas utilizadas proceden de viñedos viejos "aged vineyards", y los 14 meses aproximados de crianza en barrica. Clos d'Englora AV14 no es sometido a ningún tratamiento de clarificación, estabilización y filtración. Las uvas para su elaboración proceden de viñedos viejos: garnachas de 70 años, cariñenas de 50 y el resto de variedades de, aproximadamente, unos 25 años. Es el vino más personal y preciado de la bodega. Su objetivo es transmitir con él el carácter de la zona de un modo vivo e intenso, combinando la potencia con la delicadeza. Envejecido 14 meses en barricas de roble francés (86%) y americano (14%).

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
