OXTO está elaborado con uva 100% tempranillo, ha sido fermentado ligeramente y mezclado con aguardiente. Envejecimiento durante tres años en barricas de roble americano. Después se embotella, estando ya listo para el consumo, lo que le permite seguir conservando los aromas afrutados y su característico color oscuro. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas usadas, con muy poco aporte tánico. La madera nueva dominaría la estructura y aromas del vino.
