La base de este Don PX Gran Reserva es el PX joven sometido a una crianza oxidativa durante 25 años en roble americano. Bodegas Toro Albalá está considerado como uno de los 100 Bodegas de Oro españoles del siglo XXI. Está situado en el término municipal de Aguilar de la Frontera, a 50 kilómetros de Córdoba, y fue fundado en 1844 por Antonio Sánchez Prieto en un molino llamado La Noria, cerca del castillo de esta localidad. A pesar de la antigüedad de la bodega, el despegue en el resto de España ha tardado en producirse. Han pasado más de 100 años hasta que Antonio Sánchez Romero, sin olvidar las normas de sus antepasados y adoptando técnicas nuevas ha situado sus vinos en un segmento medio-alto y ha obtenido el reconocimiento por su labor, está especialmente orgulloso de sus Pedro Ximénez, que rozan la perfección, desde el hermano pequeño Don PX hasta el gran Bacchus 1939.

Montilla-Moriles is located in 17 Municipios andaluces situados en la provincia de Córdoba, en España: Aguilar de la Frontera, Montilla, Moriles, Doña Mencía, Montalbán de Córdoba, Monturque, Nueva Carteya y Puente Genil, así como en parte de Baena, Cabra, Castro del Río, Espejo, Fernán-Núñez, La Rambla, Lucena, Montemayor y Santaella.
