Un vino profundo, interesante y muy especial. El Zibibbo de Nino Barraco, elaborado con moscatel de Alejandría, es una delicia de color dorado que procede de viñedos plantados en suelos de piedra caliza, en una zona de Marsala muy cercana al mar. Acostumbrados a los vinos dulces producidos con esta antigua variedad egipcia en la isla de Pantelleria, sorprende muy agradablemente esta versión de Trapani, seco, limpio y directo. La uva, el territorio y la sensibilidad y artesanía de su enólogo se resumen en cada botella de Zibibbo Barraco: una uva aromática muy intensa en sus dulces notas de albaricoque y dátil; un proceso de producción especial, con maceración corta y el envejecimiento del vino en contacto con las lías; una gran mineralidad, fruto de la cantidad de piedra caliza de los suelos y de su cercanía a la costa. En su bouquet combina las notas varietales con aromas propios del invierno mediterráneo (bergamota, pomelo y limón), notas de jengibre y menta y recuerdos de hojas de tabaco. Un vino estructurado, fresco, sabroso, suave y con una buena potencia alcohólica. Es toda una experiencia acercarse a la esencia y naturalidad de este vino, seguro que cuando la encuentren les costará separarse de la botella.
