Fransola, elaborado con la variedad sauvignon blanc, es uno de ellos, un blanco especial por su fermentación parcial en barrica, que ofrecerá todas sus mejores cualidades (frescor y acidez, elegancia y delicadez) en los siguientes 3-5 años. El 50% de la cosecha ha sido fermentada y criada durante 8 meses en barricas nuevas de roble americano y francés (50%-50%).

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
