Los vinos de la gama Tradition de Schloss Gobelsburg se elaboran de la forma más artesanal posible, intentando recuperar el sabio magisterio de los monjes que lo elaboraban anteriormente, según los antiguos métodos de vinificación, con fermentaciones sin control de temperatura. Este Tradition se elabora con uva riesling procedente de un viñedo de unas 6 ha, con cepas de 20-40 años de edad media y rendimientos de 40 hl/ha, con fermentación y crianza en roble austríaco (roble de Manhartsberg). Un vino que sorprende por su frutosidad, tanto en nariz como en boca, a pesar de su vinificación por métodos tradicionales, con un largo y ligeramente salado final, y una gran potencial. Fermentado y criado durante 18 meses en barricas de roble austríaco de Manhartsberg.
