Vendimiado en las cuatro mejores viñas de xarel·lo y fermentado el mosto en cuatro tipos de madera (castaño, acacia, roble francés y americano), nace QX = Cuatro xarel·los. El vino necesita un fuerte jarreado para calmar el nervio ahumado; de tal modo, encontrarán cautivadores aromas de flan de vainilla, polvo, cartón y caramelo, que incitan a texturas grasas y abocadas. En efecto, la boca, de corte meridional, desprende cierta calidez haciendo de QX un vino redondo y meloso. Envejecido durante 8 meses en barricas de castaño, acacia, roble francés y americano.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
