Con la nueva gama de microvinificaciones, producciones muy limitadas, Augustus busca explorar nuevos caminos con las distintas variedades plantadas en sus viñedos, buscando siempre la excelencia. Con el Xarel·lo Barrica encontraremos un vino en el que predominan las notas de membrillo, de miel y orellanas, toques de caramelo, almendras tostadas... Un vino fresco en boca, buen cuerpo y de gran recorrido.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
