La familia Mestres está unida a la historia vitivinícola del Penedès desde principios del siglo XIV. Mestres Visol Brut Nature Gran Reserva está elaborado con las variedades tradicionales macabeu, xarel·lo y parellada. El vino base fermentó y se crió 6 meses en barrica, con una posterior larga crianza en botella de más de 60 meses en las cavas. Un exquisito Brut Nature con una producción limitada de solo 9.862 botellas.

The production region of D.O. Cava is located in La denominada región del Cava, que comprende fundamentalmente la comarca catalana del Penedés (provincias de Barcelona y Tarragona), donde se encuentra San Sadurní de Noya, el centro de producción más importante. El cava también se elabora en otros 159 municipios de España, de las provincias de Barcelona (63 municipios), Tarragona (52 municipios), La Rioja (18 municipios), Lérida (12 municipios), Gerona (5 municipios), Álava (3 municipios), Zaragoza (2 municipios), Navarra (2 municipios), Badajoz (1 municipio) y Valencia (1 municipio), que en su conjunto configuran la zona de producción denominada Región del Cava.
