Criado durante 1 mes en barricas de roble francés Allier. Posteriomente se le añade mosto antes de ser embotellado en recipientes de cerámica de 750 ml. Serán sumergidas en agua de forma vertical, dentro de tinas, bajo tierra en zonas geobiológicas no neg.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
