Uno de los únicos vodkas del mundo creado enteramente de uvas, concretamente Mauzac Blanc cultivadas en Gaillac y Ugni Blanc de la región de Cognac. Para su elaboración se destila cinco veces. Las primeras cuatro destilaciones de la Ugni-Blanc tienen lugar en alambiques de columna de acero inoxidable; las uvas Mauzac Blanc se destilan en alambiques de cobre continuos. La destilación final, una vez mezclados, se realiza en un olla de cobre Armagnac, en una destilería de la zona de Cognac. Esta quíntuple destilación ofrece un producto con un contenido alcohólico de 96 grados que tiene que mezclarse con agua para rebajarlo hasta los 40 grados.
