Elaborado a partir de trigo entero de la región de La Beauce, en el centro de Francia. Para la destilación se utiliza el grano desprovisto del salvado, lo que confiere finura a este vodka, ya que el salvado produce metanol y otros elementos que afectan al gusto del destilado. El nombre de 6C viene dado por su exclusivo sistema de destilación. Se trata de seis destilaciones: cinco en columna y una sexta destilación realizada con un alambique de cobre Charentais. En esta sexta destilación se añade una pequeña cantidad de especias para aportar aroma.
