Talisker nace en la isla de Skye, en las Tierras Altas de Escocia, donde se destila desde 1830. Allí el agua brota de hasta 21 manantiales subterráneos con los que la destilería elabora whiskies de sabor intenso y ahumado. Las notas picantes, de sal marina (acorde con el lugar en el que se elabora) y pimienta, lo convierten en un whisky de malta complejo, de personalidad única, poderosa, expresiva y fuerte. Concretamente, Talisker Storm se elabora a partir de una cuidadosa selección de barricas y en él también armonizan perfectamente la intensidad, el ahumado, el sabor dulce y salado, y la pimienta.
