Las Hermanas Catherine y Sophie Armenier elaboran algunos de los Châteauneuf-du-Pape más preciados y deseados. La cuvée Vieilles Vignessolo la embotellan en las mejores añadas y proviene de garnachas de dos parcelas, las Charbonnières –plantada en 1900– y los Esquierons –con una parte de las cepas plantadas en 1900 y otra en 1949–. Domaine de MarcouxChâteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes es una infusión de fruta, con notas fragantes de cereza, regaliz rojo y mermelada. En la boca es fruta jugosa, con una textura sedosa de coulis de frambuesa, tiene volumen y peso con una profundidad y un perfume final de impresión. Refinado y exuberante. The production region of A.O.C. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is located in Alrededores de la aldea de Châteauneuf-du-Pape, en la región vinícola del Ródano, en el sureste de Francia. Es una de las denominaciones más famosas de la parte sur del Valle del Ródano.
