El último proyecto de La Calandria no tiene que ver con sus garnachas jugosas y exuberantes ni con su otro oficio –casi desconocido por los enófilos– de las representaciones teatrales, con decorados, puesta en escena y guiones y diálogos inverosímiles. Tiene que ver con la arqueología vinícola y con la resurrección de viejos rancios perdidos. Hidratar «madres» anónimas y llenas de historias olvidadas en pequeñas bodegas privadas a lo largo de los Pirineos y el Moncayo. Su primera entrega son tres vinos. Niño Perdido Madre N° 2 Familia Laín es el de mayor producción con unas escasas 367 botellas de 37,5 cl. Una garnacha que había permanecido sellada en los toneles hasta que Eladio y sus hermanos la heredaron de sus abuelos. Su color es caoba. Su aroma conjuga delicadas notas de vainilla y avellanas tostadas. En boca es incisivo con una textura generosa que cubre la lengua y con un final explosivo y larguísimo. Un proyecto extraordinario.
