El único vino tinto elaborado por Cava Llopart presenta un intenso color cereza oscuro y reflejos granates. De aroma denso y una equilibrada armonía de notas de finas especias, confituras nobles y ahumados, en el paladar se muestra sedoso y bien estructurado, con taninos redondos y suaves. Evoluciona con matices varietales (ciruelas, higos secos y frutos de bosque maduros), sobre un fondo de ligeros tonos tostados y de vainilla, y finaliza cálida y persistentemente. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble francés y americano. Posterior envejecimiento en botella de un mínimo de 18 meses.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
