Pep Aguilar y Patri Morillo forman un tándem inquieto, les gusta explorar, descubrir, y a menudo se definen como cocineros del terruño, entendiendo esta cocina como la dedicación a preservar las particularidades de cada viñedo para conseguir su expresión más auténtica en sus vinos. Con este nuevo vino, muy distinto a su monovarietal de garnacha peluda (La Peluda), ofrecen otra expresión del Montsant: una cariñena muy pura, un vino con volumen, pleno y con una paso por boca pausado como corresponde a la variedad. Las cepas de Vinya Goretti se encuentran en la localidad de Marçà, en una parcela de suelos arcilloso-calcáreos y de pizarra. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
