The production region of A.O.C. Pauillac is located in La orilla oeste de la Gironda, al norte de St-Julien. Limita al oeste con la parroquia de St Sauveur y el bosque de las Landas. Las tres comunas se encuentran dentro del Haut-Médoc. La ciudad de Pauillac es la más grande del Médoc, con una población de más de 5000.
