The production region of A.O.C. Saint-Julien is located in La región de Burdeos, situada en la subregión Médoc. Toma su nombre de la comuna Saint-Julien-Beychevelle y es una de las seis denominaciones comunales en Médoc. Varias propiedades clasificadas (Grand Cru Classé) de Burdeos se encuentran dentro de la denominación.
