Este vino muestra la cara más innovadora de la DO Montsant. Sus autores han buscado huir de la sobreextracción imperante y buscar la riqueza de aromas sin exceso de volumen. El resultado es un tinto jugoso, láctico, cargado de fruta y aromas florales, de capa media y final especiado que sorprende a todo aquel que lo prueba. Envejecido durante 13 meses en barricas de roble francés usadas.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
