La bodega del Castell del Remei fue concebido y construido por la familia Girona el año 1780 para la elaboración de vinos de crianza. La finca está situada en la comarca de La Noguera, a 250 metros sobre el nivel del mar. El suelo es calcáreo. No obstante, cabe destacar la presencia de suelos muy diversos dentro de la finca, lo que contribuye a la enorme riqueza de matices propia de los vinos de Castell del Remei.
Castell del Remei –capitaneada por Tomàs Cusiné– es la bodega más antigua de Catalunya, una de las propiedades históricas de Lleida y pionera en la elaboración de vinos de crianza de calidad. Collita es su vino insignia, ensamblaje de cabernet sauvignon, ull de llebre, garnacha y merlot que se crió durante 18 meses en barricas nuevas de roble francés y americano. Un gran tinto concentrado, complejo y largo, con un buen potencial de guarda.
