El que faltaba... un vino joven que cierra el círculo para esta bodega moderna e innovadora. Su nombre hace referencia a los postes de piedra, que se colocaban para delimitar los terrenos. Está elaborado con las cepas más jóvenes pero con injertos de aquellas más emblemáticas provenientes de Bodegas Emilio Moro. El mosto macera durante 18 días y fermenta en acero inoxidable con remontados periódicos. Acto seguido, el vino recibe una crianza de 8 meses en barricas de roble francés que le confiere un plus de elegancia y complejidad. Viste precioso color picota con ribetes violáceos. Nariz madura y compleja, dominada por los aromas de frutillos negros, regaliz, violetas y finos tostados. En boca es de cuerpo medio y taninos bien limados; redondo, amable y goloso. Los recuerdos de la barrica (vainilla) recubren una fruta jugosa al tiempo que fresca, fiel reflejo de la altitud en que crecen sus uvas. Postgusto largo y equilibrado, dominado por briznas de fruta especiada. Un Ribera para todos los públicos no exento de carácter.
Hito es el tinto inicial de Bodegas Cepa 21, el proyecto dirigido por los hermanos José y Javier Moro, la tercera generación de la bodega familiar Emilio Moro. Se elabora con tempranillo de viñedos situados en la localidad de Castrillo de Duero y se cría en barrica de roble francés. Un Ribera del Duero accesible, afrutado, perfumado, fresco y redondo, perfecto para acompañar embutidos y arroces.

Ribera del Duero is located in La región de la cuenca del río Duero, de unos 115 kilómetros de longitud y 35 de anchura, situada en la confluencia de las provincias de Soria, con 19 municipios, Burgos, con 60 municipios, Segovia, con 4 municipios y Valladolid, con 19 municipios, pertenecientes todos ellos a la comarca vallisoletana de Campo de Peñafiel. Comienza aproximadamente por el este en San Esteban de Gormaz y se extiende hasta Quintanilla de Onésimo en el oeste.
