'Tagonius' era el nombre que utilizaban los romanos para llamar al río Tajuña, el responsable de la humedad y el microclima especial de que gozan hoy los viñedos de tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon y syrah de esta bodega. Envejecido durante 18 meses en barrica de roble francés y americano.

En total la forman 54 municipios del sur de la Comunidad de Madrid, siendo Arganda del Rey, situada en el sureste madrileño, la que más municipios comprende y la de mayor producción.
