Elaborado con uvas procedentes de la parcela El Ciruelo, un viñedo de apenas 0,75 ha, situado a 500-550 metros de altitud y con exposición norte, cuyo nombre le viene dado por un ciruelo centenario que convivía con el viñedo. Es casi un monovarietal de listán negro (97%), de cepas de más de 90 años, a pie franco, con un pequeño porcentaje de listán blanco. Envejecido durante 12 meses con sus propias lías en barricas de 500 L de roble francés.
