No en vano, su creador, Alejandro Fernández, elaboraba ya vinos en estas tierras incluso antes de que se convirtiera en la prestigiosa denominación de origen que es hoy. Aún a día de hoy, el carácter de Alejandro se manifiesta en sus botellas en forma de vino abierto, cargado de fruta, cercano desde el primer contacto pero también capaz de envejecer con elegancia. Buena fruta, delicadas maderas, taninos elegantes y carácter por doquier. Un tinto imprescindible para entender la DO Ribera del Duero.

The production region of D.O. Ribera del Duero is located in La región de la cuenca del río Duero, de unos 115 kilómetros de longitud y 35 de anchura, situada en la confluencia de las provincias de Soria, con 19 municipios, Burgos, con 60 municipios, Segovia, con 4 municipios y Valladolid, con 19 municipios, pertenecientes todos ellos a la comarca vallisoletana de Campo de Peñafiel. Comienza aproximadamente por el este en San Esteban de Gormaz y se extiende hasta Quintanilla de Onésimo en el oeste.
