El Cune Crianza es un vino icónico, de los que por sí solos explican buena parte de la historia riojana. En él se combinan todas las bondades de los tintos de la Rioja Alta y buena parte de los métodos tradicionales de elaboración. El vino se cría en roble americano hasta adquirir el equilibrio y la delicadeza que lo caracterizan. Los aromas de bayas rojas, eucalipto y pimientas se entremezclan con los de hoja de tabaco ofreciendo una nariz reconocible año tras año. En boca es fresco y complejo al mismo tiempo, pura armonía. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble.

The production region of D.O.Ca. Rioja is located in Las regiones de las comunidades autónomas de La Rioja y el País Vasco mayoritariamente, y en menor medida de Navarra y Castilla y León. Por la diversidad orográfica y climática se distinguen tres subzonas de producción: Rioja Alta (76 términos municipales en la comunidad autónoma de La Rioja y 1, Miranda de Ebro, en la provincia de Burgos, Castilla y León), Rioja Baja (42 términos municipales en la comunidad autónoma de La Rioja y 8 en Navarra) y Rioja Alavesa (15 términos municipales en la provincia de Álava, País Vasco).
