Todo nuevo proyecto requiere un esfuerzo y el trabajo bien hecho siempre acaba teniendo sus compensaciones, aunque poco contaba esta pequeña bodega ribereña con atraer tan pronto la atención de Robert Parker: 92 puntos recibió la añada 2006. Su breve estancia en barrica (9 meses) confiere a Mibal la estructura y la complejidad suficiente para mostrarse equilibrado, amplio y expresivo, a la vez que joven aún. Además, es un vino que permite beberse perfectamente ahora o que podemos dejar redondear en botella un par de años. Se recomienda decantar antes de servir para abrir aromas y evitar posibles residuos. Fermentación maloláctica en barricas. Envejecido durante 9 meses en barricas de roble francés.

The production region of D.O. Ribera del Duero is located in La región de la cuenca del río Duero, de unos 115 kilómetros de longitud y 35 de anchura, situada en la confluencia de las provincias de Soria, con 19 municipios, Burgos, con 60 municipios, Segovia, con 4 municipios y Valladolid, con 19 municipios, pertenecientes todos ellos a la comarca vallisoletana de Campo de Peñafiel. Comienza aproximadamente por el este en San Esteban de Gormaz y se extiende hasta Quintanilla de Onésimo en el oeste.
