De ellos nacen unos vinos ricos, potentes y de gran madurez aromática. Nero Màccarj consigue expresar la calidez de un verano siciliano con sus dulces notas de cereza y mora madura, acompañadas por otras de regaliz y sotobosque mediterráneo que van creciendo en intensidad a lo largo de su cata. En boca destaca la grandeza de la nero d'Avola, que consigue alejar cualquier atisbo de pesadez gracias al excelente equilibrio entre la madurez de la fruta y su acidez.
