La Dame de Montrose es el segundo vino de Château Montrose, uno de los mejores segundos vinos que podemos encontrar en Burdeos, un vino de grandísima calidad, con una finura y delicadez exquisitas que honran la feminidad de su nombre, y también un clásico bordelés en estilo, por sus notas de tabaco. Elaborado con un 64% de uvas de cabernet y un 36% de merlot, La Dame de Montrose es un vino vigoroso, de gran elegancia, con una nariz compleja que exhibe deliciosos aromas de fruta madura (guindas, frambuesas... pero también de fruta negra), notas de tabaco y de sotobosque, y seduce en boca con su textura jugosa, su frescor y su tacto sedoso. De gran persistencia en el paladar, tiene también una larga vida en la bodega. Para quienes el gran vino de la casa resulta inalcanzable, La Dame de Montrose es una alternativa con grandes virtudes y méritos propios. Envejece durante 12 meses en barricas nuevas (10%) y seminuevas de roble francés.
