Un gran vino de Margaux, opulento, rico y concentrado, con un elevado porcentaje de merlot (48%), inhabitual en los vinos de la margen izquierda, que le confiere carnosidad y riqueza. Un vino que dejar madurar en botella pero para disfrutar durante largos años. Envejece durante 18 meses en barricas de roble francés, 90% renovadas cada año.

The production region of A.O.C. Margaux is located in Con eje en la la localidad de Margaux, su principal château (Premier Cru) recibe igualmente su nombre. Contiene 21 Cru Classé châteaux, más que cualquier otra comuna en Burdeos. Las comarcas de Cantenac, Arsac, Soussans y Labarde. Está en la margen izquierda de la Gironda. Es la denominación más meridional del Médoc, no muy al norte de Burdeos. Al este se encuentre el bosque de las Landas.
