El Château Lanessan desprende un intenso y reconfortante aroma a tierra húmeda y flores. La tipicidad varietal adquiere forma de recuerdos de pimiento y hoja de tabaco que los tonos torrefactos derivados de la crianza cincelan. Es tánico en su justa medida, con buena acidez y boca muy redonda, de cuerpo medio. Afloran aromas de mina de lápiz y fruta negra por vía retronasal que nos acompañarán hasta un suave y armonioso final. Para la crianza se emplean barricas nuevas y barricas usadas. La madera únicamente nueva dominaría la estructura y aromas del vino.
