Vino ligero y de trago fácil para disfrutar festivamente, pero aun así con cuerpo, suave en boca, sabroso y agradable. Lo único que les defraudará es la botella, se termina fácilmente. La tradición del "vi novell" está muy arraigada en el Montsant, y a mediados de noviembre aparecen en el mercado la cosecha del año recién embotellada. Un vino para disfrutar sin más pretensiones, pero con la calidad de una buena elaboración sin duda.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
