La bodega Blue Nun está situada en la ciudad de Maguncia al lado del Rin. Han adoptado la tradición de los monasterios de la región del Rin de la cual el nombre de Blue Nun se deriva. La base de la calidad excepcional de los vinos son la uva y las cosechas de viñedos propios. La gran cosecha del 1921 fue también la inspiración para la idea de crear un vino para los consumidores más exigentes. Hoy la familia de Franz Wilhelm Langguth es la responsable de este maravilloso vino.
