En 1994, Pablo Eguzkiza y Telmo Rodríguez junto con un tercer enólogo elaboran un vino de Garnacha, de viñas viejas, plantación en vaso y de Navarra. El vino se llamó Ánima. Así arranca el proyecto, que en sus orígenes se llamó Compañía de Vinos de la Granja y actualmente se llama Compañía de vinos Telmo Rodríguez. Esta empresa actualmente elabora vinos por toda España: La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Toro, Valdeorras, Cigales, Rueda, Cebreros, Alicante y Málaga.
