Creada en 1760 por François Delamotte, la bodega Lanson fue comprado en 2006 por grupo BCC (Boizel Chanoine Champagne), segundo mundial en la elaboración de Champagne. En 1950 fue una de las primeras en sacar un Champagne Rosé en el mercado. Desde 1972 cuenta con un equipo de profesionales dirigido por el reconocido enólogo Jean Paul Gandon. La bodega está ubicado en la Champagne y sus viñedos, plantados en Coteaux, con orientación septentrional.
