Coupage de xarel·lo parcialmente fermentado en barrica, y chardonnay, este Reserva Familiar de Sabaté i Coca es un cava de altísima calidad, a la altura de muchos champagnes de añada. Los 91 puntos de Robert Parker permiten considerarlo uno de los mejores cavas del mundo. La variedad xarel·lo fermenta parcialmente en barricas de roble. Envejecido en cava durante un mínimo de 36 meses.

The production region of D.O. Cava is located in La denominada región del Cava, que comprende fundamentalmente la comarca catalana del Penedés (provincias de Barcelona y Tarragona), donde se encuentra San Sadurní de Noya, el centro de producción más importante. El cava también se elabora en otros 159 municipios de España, de las provincias de Barcelona (63 municipios), Tarragona (52 municipios), La Rioja (18 municipios), Lérida (12 municipios), Gerona (5 municipios), Álava (3 municipios), Zaragoza (2 municipios), Navarra (2 municipios), Badajoz (1 municipio) y Valencia (1 municipio), que en su conjunto configuran la zona de producción denominada Región del Cava.
