Estamos ante un vino novedoso y bien hecho, de una pequeña bodega en la orilla del mar (municipio de Torrent, en el Baix Empordà) con el sello inconfundible y garantía del equipo de Carles Esteve, de Can Ràfols dels Caus. La añada precedente de este vino fue valorado con 92 puntos en la Guía Peñín 2010, siendo uno de los blancos mejor puntuados de toda la D.O. Empordà.

The production region of D.O. Empordà is located in La región de Ampurdán (Empordà), hasta 2006 denominada Ampurdán-Costa Brava, abarca la zona vinícola desde la Albera hasta la sierra de Rodas y la Garrotxa de Ampurdán, en España. El área de producción está distribuida en dos subzonas: 35 municipios al norte del Alto Ampurdán y 13 municipios al este del Bajo Ampurdán.
